General Rules
Pre-Registration and Commitment
-
Pre-registration is required to attend lessons. Students must complete the registration form and provide the necessary information.
-
Lesson schedules and availability are limited. The information provided during registration helps us plan the most suitable lessons for each student.
-
Timely responses are important. Lesson planning takes into account students' interest and commitment. Our program is designed for students who are serious about learning and willing to put in consistent effort.
Payment and Refund Policy
Payment and Lesson Booking
-
Lesson reservations are confirmed only after full payment has been received. No time slots are reserved without payment.
-
Discounts may be available for multiple lesson packages. However, the lessons in each package must be completed within the specified time frame.
Refund Conditions
-
If a student requests a refund after starting a lesson package, the refund will be calculated based on the standard private lesson rate, not the discounted rate.
-
Refunds are only available for unused lessons. Completed lessons are non-refundable.
-
If a student requests a refund before starting the lessons, processing time depends on the payment method.
-
No refunds will be made to students who have not made a reservation within 30 days of payment. It is not legally possible to refund services that exceed 30 days.
Lesson Usage and Scheduling
Rescheduling and Cancellation
-
Students who wish to reschedule a lesson must notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
-
Last-minute rescheduling requests are not accepted, as they disrupt both the teacher's and other students' schedules.
-
For private lessons, if a student does not join within 15 minutes, the lesson is considered completed, and no rescheduling or refund will be granted.
-
For group lessons, missed lessons are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
Why Last-Minute Changes Are Not Possible?
-
Lesson schedules are planned in advance, and each student reserves a specific time slot.
-
The teacher allocates time based on availability. If a student cancels at the last minute, that time slot remains empty and cannot be given to another student.
-
When requesting a reschedule, the student is essentially booking two time slots for the price of one, which disrupts the teacher’s schedule and affects other students.
Group Lesson Policies
Attendance and Participation
-
Students must log in before the lesson starts and join on time.
-
No lesson repetition will be provided for latecomers.
-
Attendance may be required for group lessons. For students aiming to receive a completion certificate, a minimum attendance rate may be necessary.
-
Students who frequently miss lessons may not be eligible to register for future courses.
-
Absentee students cannot request a refund for missed lessons.
Class Environment and Discipline
-
Ensuring a quiet environment: Students must be in a quiet space during lessons and avoid distractions.
-
Microphone and camera usage: Students may be expected to turn on their microphones when needed for an interactive experience. Keeping the camera on may be required or recommended. If a student prefers to only listen to the lesson and not actively participate, they must inform the teacher in advance.
-
Respect for others: Students should respect their classmates' right to speak and avoid unnecessary interruptions.
Group Dynamics and Interaction
-
Active participation is mandatory: Group lessons are interactive, and students are expected to actively engage rather than remain passive.
-
Limitations on personal requests: Group lessons follow a set curriculum and cannot be adjusted for individual learning needs. Students requiring personalized instruction should book private lessons.
Material Usage and Sharing
-
Accessing materials: Lesson materials can be accessed via Google Classroom or the designated platform.
-
Students are responsible for checking notifications and accessing the designated platforms for group lessons. Lesson materials will not be sent individually to students.
-
Material sharing is prohibited: Lesson materials and content may not be shared or distributed without permission.
Lesson Cancellation and Make-up Policy
-
No make-up lessons for students: If a student voluntarily misses a group lesson, the lesson will not be rescheduled or refunded.
-
Teacher cancellations: If the teacher cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled for a later date.
Private Lesson Policies
Student Participation and Responsibilities
-
Active participation is mandatory: Students must actively engage in at least 70% of the lesson, as this aligns with effective language learning methodology.
-
Beginners are expected to start speaking after a few lessons and progressively increase their speaking practice.
-
Preparation is essential: To maximize learning outcomes, students should review previous lessons and come prepared for the next session.
-
Homework and self-study: Language learning requires consistent effort. Students are encouraged to complete assigned exercises and practice outside of class.
Scheduling and Attendance
-
Lesson reservations are confirmed only after full payment is received. No time slots will be reserved without payment.
-
Rescheduling and cancellations: Private lessons can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. If a student fails to notify the teacher in advance, the lesson will be counted as completed.
-
Late arrivals: If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. Lessons will not be extended to accommodate tardiness.
-
No-shows: If a student does not attend a lesson without prior notice, the lesson is considered completed, and no refunds or rescheduling will be allowed.
Refund and Lesson Package Policies
Lesson packages must be used within the specified time frame:
-
8 lessons → Must be completed within 1 month.
-
12 lessons → Must be completed within 1.5 months.
-
24 lessons → Must be completed within 3 months.
-
Refunds for multiple lesson packages are only available before lessons begin. Once lessons have started, refunds will be calculated based on the non-discounted lesson rate, with deductions for completed lessons.
-
No refunds for completed lessons.
-
Unused lessons are non-transferable and cannot be shared with others.
Lesson Format and Conduct
-
Teacher’s role in lessons: The teacher is not expected to lecture throughout the entire lesson. Language learning is a two-way process, and students are expected to interact and practice.
-
Breaks and lesson flow: Lessons are structured to maximize learning efficiency. Short breaks may be given if needed, but they should not disrupt the flow of the lesson.
-
Use of teaching platforms: Lessons and materials will be provided through the designated platform (Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.). Students must ensure access before the lesson starts.
Privacy and Recording Policy
-
Lesson recordings are not allowed. Recording or sharing lessons without permission is strictly prohibited.
-
Personal data protection: Student information and lesson content are kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
Additional Conditions
Recording and Privacy
-
No recording or sharing: Online lessons cannot be recorded, shared, or distributed in any format due to privacy laws and copyright regulations. Unauthorized recording or sharing may lead to legal consequences.
-
Confidentiality: All lesson content, student information, and discussions within the class are strictly confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties.
Holidays and Force Majeure
-
Rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances: If the teacher or student is unable to attend a lesson due to holidays, illness, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, power outages, internet disruptions), the lesson may be rescheduled.
-
Advance notice required: If possible, both parties should inform each other in advance to arrange an alternative lesson time.
Technical Requirements and Responsibility
-
Stable internet connection: Students are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a functional device (computer, tablet, or phone) before the lesson starts.
-
Software and platform access: Students must download and set up the necessary applications (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.) in advance to avoid technical issues.
-
Technical difficulties during lessons: If a student faces technical issues during the lesson, the lost time will not be compensated. However, if the teacher experiences technical problems, the lesson may be rescheduled
Code of Conduct and Respect
-
Respectful behavior: Students are expected to treat the teacher and fellow students with respect and professionalism. Any form of disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
-
Professional communication: All communication (emails, messages, or calls) should be courteous and professional. Harassment or inappropriate messages will result in termination of lessons without refund.
Policy Updates and Agreement
-
Policy changes: The teacher reserves the right to update these terms and conditions when necessary. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
-
Agreement acknowledgment: By enrolling in lessons, students agree to abide by these policies. Failure to comply may result in the termination of lessons without refund.
These policies are designed to protect the rights of both teachers and students and to create a structured learning process. If you have any questions, please contact your teacher.
